Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
