And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
