Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
