Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
