When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 And when the twain had passed by, he said unto his page: bring us our morning-meal, assuredly we have met from this journey of ours, toil 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
