And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
