▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is the kingdom! 33 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when heaven is split asunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- 37 which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 38 For, on that Day, neither man nor jinn will be questioned about his sins. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks so they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro! 44 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 45

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
