Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
