Say: 'Travel the land and see what was the fate of those who belied' 11 Say: 'To whom belongs that which is in the heavens and the earth' Say: 'To Allah. He has written for Himself mercy, and will gather you on the Day of Resurrection in which there is no doubt. Those who have lost their souls, they do not believe' 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatsoever exists in the night and the day, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." 13 Say: "Should I find some other protector besides God the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who nourishes all and is nourished by none? Say: "I am commanded to be the first to submit to Him, and not be an idolater." 14 Say: 'Surely do I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of an awesome Day. 15 He from whom it is averted on that day, Allah indeed has shown mercy to him; and this is a manifest achievement. 16 And if Allah afflicts you with some misfortune, then there is none who can remove it, except Him; and if He sends you some good fortune, then (know that) He is Able to do all things. 17 And He is the subjugator over His servants. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted [with all]. 18 Say: "What could most weightily bear witness to the truth?" Say: "God is witness between me and you; and this Qur'an has been revealed unto me so that on the strength thereof I might warn you and all whom it may reach." Could you in truth bear witness that there are other deities side by side with God? Say: "I bear no [such] witness!" Say: "He is the One God; and behold, far be it from me to ascribe divinity, as, you do, to aught beside Him!" 19 Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their sons. Those who have lost their own souls, they do not believe. 20
