▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And never may the disbelievers pride that they have escaped; indeed they can never defeat. 59 And get ready against them whatsoever ye can of force and wellfed horses whereby ye may overawe the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom ye know not; Allah knoweth them. And whatsoever ye expend in the way of Allah shall be repaid to you in full; and ye shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo! He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 61 And if they intend to deceive you-- then surely Allah is sufficient for you; He it is Who strengthened you with His help and with the believers 62 and joined their hearts. Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thou is Allah and those who follow thee of the believers. 64
