Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
