And certainly We lodged the children of Israel in a goodly abode and We provided them with good things; but they did not disagree until the knowledge had come to them; surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that in which they disagreed. 93 So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters, 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous. 97 And wherefore was there not a town which should believe so that their belief should have profited them but the people of Yunus? When they believed, We removed from them the chastisement of disgrace in this world's life and We gave them provision till a time. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. 100 (Muhammad), tell them to consider that which is in the heavens and the earth. Evidence and warnings are of no avail to the disbelieving people. 101 Can they expect anything but what the people before them had known? Say: "Then wait. I am waiting with you." 102 Then, (when Allah's wrath falls upon the wicked) We save our Messengers and also those who believe.
