The caravan departed (from Egypt) and Jacob said (at home): "Say not that I am in my dotage, but I get the smell of Joseph." 94 They said, "By God, you still persist in your illusions!" 95 But when the bearer of good tidings came to him, and laid it on his face, forthwith he saw once again. He said, 'Did I not tell you I know from God that you know not?' 96 They said: "O our father! Ask forgiveness (from Allah) for our sins, indeed we have been sinners." 97 He said: "I shall ask my Sustainer to forgive you: He alone is truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace!" 98 And when they entered before Joseph, he took his father and mother into his arms and said: 'Welcome to Egypt, safe, if Allah wills' 99 He helped his parents to a couch and they all fell down on their knees before him. He said, "My father, this is the interpretation of my dream. My Lord has made it come true! He was kind to me when He let me out of prison and brought you from the desert after Satan had brought about discord between me and my brethren. My Lord is the best planner in achieving what He will; He is All Knowing, and Truly Wise." 100 ۞ My Lord! Thou hast given me of the kingdom and taught me of the interpretation of sayings: Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my guardian in this world and the hereafter; make me die a muslim and join me with the good. 101 That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal, [O Muhammad], to you. And you were not with them when they put together their plan while they conspired. 102 Yet most men will not become believers, no matter how eager you may be. 103 Even though you ask no recompense (for it). It is only a warning for all mankind. 104
