And how many a sign in the heavens and the earth which they pass by, yet they turn aside from it. 105 and most of them, even when they profess belief in God, attribute partners to Him. 106 Deem they themselves secure from the coming on them of a pall of Allah's punishment, or the coming of the Hour suddenly while they are unaware? 107 Say thou: this is my way: I call unto Allah resting upon an insight - I, and whosoever followeth me. Hallowed be Allah: and I am not of the associators. 108 Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand? 109 And when at length Our Messengers despaired and reckoned that they would be belied, Our help came down to them, saving whom We pleased. Our Might cannot be withheld from the guilty nation. 110 Certainly in the stories of the bygone people there is a lesson for people of understanding. What is being narrated in the Qur'an is no fabrication; it is rather confirmation of the Books that preceded it, and a detailed exposition of everything, and a guidance and mercy for people of faith. 111
