۞ Can a person, who knows that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, be considered equal to a blind person? Only those who have understanding take heed. 19 Those who fulfil the promise of Allah and do not break the covenant, 20 And those who join that which Allah has bidden to be joined and have awe of their Lord and fear the evil reckoning. 21 patient men, desirous of the Face of their Lord, who perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them, secretly and in public, and who avert evil with good -- theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode, 22 Gardens of Eden which they enter, along with all who do right of their fathers and their helpmeets and their seed. The angels enter unto them from every gate, 23 "Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!" 24 But as for those who break their bond with God after it has been established [in their nature,] and cut asunder what God has bidden to be joined, and spread corruption on earth - their due is rejection [by God,] and theirs is a most evil fate [in the life to come]. 25 Allah gives abundantly and sparingly to whom He will. They rejoice in this present life; but this present life, beside the Everlasting Life, is nothing but a passing enjoyment. 26
