Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
