We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
