We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
