The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
