VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
