VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
