Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
