Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
