Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
