"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
