But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
