The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
