And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
