The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
