Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
