Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah. 120 Thankful for His bounties; He chose him and He guided him unto a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 Then We revealed to you: Follow the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists. 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it. On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will decide the differences that were between them. 124 Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. 125 Hence, if you have to respond to an attack [in argument,] respond only to the extent of the attack levelled against you; but to bear yourselves with patience is indeed far better for [you, since God is with] those who are patient in adversity. 126 And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire. 127 Indeed Allah is with the pious and the virtuous. 128
