And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. 31 And do not go near fornication, as it is immoral and an evil way. 32 And do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Qisas, Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e. he should not kill except the killer only). Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law). 33 And do not touch the property of the orphans except for bettering it, until they come of age; and fulfil the promise made: You will surely be questioned about the promise. 34 And give full measures when ye measure and weigh with an even balance that is good, and the best interpretation. 35 And pursue not that thou hast no knowledge of; the hearing, the sight, the heart -- all of those shall be questioned of. 36 Do not walk proudly on the earth. You cannot cleave the earth, nor can you rival the mountains in height. 37 All such things are sins and detestable in the sight of your Lord. 38 This is (part) of that wisdom wherewith thy Lord hath inspired thee (O Muhammad). And set not up with Allah any other god, lest thou be cast into hell, reproved, abandoned. 39 Has your Lord chosen sons for you, and created daughters for Himself from among the angels? Indeed you utter a profound word! 40
