Say your prayers from the decline of the sun, until nightfall; and at dawn -- the recitation at dawn is indeed witnessed. 78 As for the night there is a voluntary deed for you to keep vigil in part it. Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a praiseworthy station. 79 Say: 'Lord, grant me an entrance of sincerity and an exit of sincerity, and give me from Yours a victorious power' 80 Say, 'Truth has come and falsehood has been banished; it is doomed to banishment.'" 81 And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. 82 When We are gracious to man he turns away and moves aside; yet when evil befalls him he begins to despair. 83 Say: Every one acts according to his manner; but your Lord best knows who is best guided in the path. 84

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
