Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. 78 And during the night wake up and pray, as an additional prayer: it may well be that your Lord will raise you to a station of praise and glory." 79 And say: 'My Lord, lead me in with a just ingoing, and lead me out with a just outgoing; grant me authority from Thee, to help me.' 80 Say, 'Truth has come and falsehood has been banished; it is doomed to banishment.'" 81 We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss. 82 And when We show favour unto man, he turneth away and withdraweth on his side; and when evil toucheth him he is ever despairing. 83 Say, "Each works according to his manner, but your Lord is most knowing of who is best guided in way." 84
