And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He said: Surely you cannot have patience with me 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
