And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 “And how will you bear something which your knowledge does not encompass?” 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
