AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 When they reached the junction of the two seas they found out that they had forgotten all about the fish (which they had carried for food). The fish found its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moosa said to him, “May I stay with you upon the condition that you will teach me the righteousness that you have been taught?” 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
