Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. 54 He exhorted his people to prayer and almsgiving, and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Idris (Enoch); he was a truthful Prophet. 56 And We exalted him to a position lofty. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, 59 save him who repents, and believes, and does a righteous deed; those -- they shall enter Paradise, and they shall not be wronged anything; 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil). 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. Therefore worship Him, and be constant in His worship. Do you know any namesake of His? 65
