The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
