Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
