Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 No, indeed! They shall deny their service, and they shall be against them pitted. 82
