And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
