Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a right way. 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
