Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
