Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
