Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
