Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
