T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TaHa. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 And what is in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
