The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
