T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
